The Theater Barn Announces Auditions in New Lebanon NY

Casting for Musicals and Plays for 2020 Summer and Fall Season

New Lebanon, NY (January 26, 2020) — The Theater Barn is holding local auditions for its 2020 summer and fall seasons on Saturday, February 15th, 2020 from 12pm to 2pm.  Auditions will be held  at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall, 732 Route 20, New Lebanon NY; located 1/4 mile west of The Theater Barn.  The 2020 season runs from June through September and includes 3 plays (Living Together, Agatha Christie’s The Stranger, and Good People) and 3 musicals (Night and Day: Love Lost and Found Through the Eyes of Cole PorterDogfight, and Urinetown).

Performers should bring a current photo and a resume of theatrical experience.  For plays, prepare a 2-minute contemporary monologue.  For musicals, bring sheet music and prepare two songs: an uptempo and ballad.  An accompanist is provided.  Information about New York City auditions, show descriptions, and performance dates are available online at www.thetheaterbarn.org.
