Colleen McCracken, an immigrant, ex-con, and survivor of domestic abuse, invites us into her sewing shop where she introduces us (through subtle impersonation) to Eleanor Roosevelt, Jackie Kennedy, Lady Bird Johnson, and Mary Todd Lincoln in Ginger Grace’s one-woman show THE FIRST LADIES COALITION.

Over the course of 90 minutes, audiences view American history through Colleen’s eyes and discover how each of these four First Ladies wound up altering the course of history simply by speaking out, even when attempts were made to suppress them. And with their help, Colleen learns how to turn her life of seemingly impossible obstacles into one of extraordinary possibility.

Rich with darkness, wit, and surprise, THE FIRST LADIES COALITION is an unforgettable, empowering, and thrillingly theatrical tour de force.
