Don’t miss the celebrated West Stockbridge Chamber Players as they present a beautiful cornucopia of music at their annual Harvest Concert to benefit the Restoration Campaign for the Old 1854 Town Hall. On Sunday, November 3 at 2 p.m., the eclectic and wide-ranging program will include Jacques Ibert’s Cinq Pièces en Trio, Eugene Bozza’s Trois pièces pour une musique de nuit, Randall Thompson’s Suite (for Oboe, Clarinet, and Viola), Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Duo in B-flat for Violin and Viola, K.424, and Jean Francaix’s Quatuor.
Clarinetist Catherine Hudgins, the Chamber Players’ artistic director, will be joined by Linda Toote on flute, Andrea Bonsignore on oboe, Richard Ranti on bassoon, Sheila Fiekowsky on violin, and Daniel Getz on viola. These concerts routinely sell out, sometimes weeks in advance.
Residents of West Stockbridge under 18 are admitted free with a reservation. A reception will follow the concert. The audience will have an opportunity to chat with the musicians and enjoy light refreshments.
