(Pittsfield, MA) Barrington Stage Company, the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, is inviting local amateur bands to take part in a Fall Springs ‘Battle of the Bands’ on July 28 at Tavern at the A.
It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to prove that your band is the Best Local Amateur Band. Like Fall Springs’ band, Impending Doom, do you have what it takes to be the Best Local Amateur Band?
Barrington Stage invites local, amateur bands to submit live music for review. The rock band members from Fall Springs’ Impending Doom will narrow down to five finalists. The five finalists will perform a two-song set on July 28. The winners will be determined by the audience applause and Impending Doom. An exciting night of music and laughter, hosted by 95.9’s Bryan Slater and Cheryl Adams from WUPE FM, the evening will kick off with Impending Doom singing “Sinking Into Oblivion”.
Fall Springs ‘Battle of the Bands’ is sponsored by Barrington Stage Company and sponsored in part by WUPE/WBEC FM, in recognition of Barrington Stage’s world premiere production of FALL SPRINGS (August 9 – 31).
