Hubbard Hall and Battenkill Books are proud to present an author panel celebrating LGBTQ+ literature and highlighting Cambridge, NY-based publisher, Bold Strokes Books. “Our LGBTQ+ Breaking Bread Potluck series is so important for our community and our organization. This collaboration with Bold Stroke Books and Battenkill Books is a thrilling development in its growth and service. I hope we can do more together!” says Hubbard Hall Executive & Artistic Director David Snider. Connie Brooks of Battenkill Books remarked, “Promoting diverse voices is an important goal of ours at Battenkill Books and partnering with LGBTQ+ publisher, Bold Strokes Books to host an author panel was a natural fit, especially since we are their hometown bookstore”.
The panel discussion will take place from 5-6 pm on April 17 at Battenkill Books (15 East Main St., Cambridge, NY). Immediately following the author panel, Hubbard Hall will host its Breaking Bread Potluck at the Roundhouse Bakery Cafe from 6-8 pm in Hubbard Hall (25 East Main St., Cambridge, NY). This will include a delicious free potluck dinner and a facilitated conversation centered around the importance of inclusion and inclusive practices. This event is free and open to all members of the general public. More information is available at hubbardhall.org or 518-677-2495, ext. 314 with Lulu Mulalu.
