Town Players of Pittsfield Announce Auditions for “New and Used”

Town Players of Pittsfield announces auditions on July 25th and 26th, 2018 for the fall production that will launch its 98th Season!

“New and Used” is a smart, sexy romantic comedy for older actors and is based loosely (and lovingly) on Jane Austin’s “Pride and Prejudice”. Gentrification mixes with sexual tension in this delightful East Coast premiere exploring the value of things new … and not so new.

Auditions are Wednesday and Thursday evening at 6:00pm in Room K111 at Berkshire Community College, 1350 West St. Mr. Monteverde is seeking charismatic comic actors ages 35 – 70 for 16 roles (10 women and 6 men). Audition is by cold read only and actors do not need to prepare anything in advance.

Rehearsals begin August 13th and the show will be in early October at Berkshire Community College on the main stage of the Robert Boland Theater.
