Home Made Theater closes their 33rd season with the musical JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber. The show runs weekends April 21 through May 6 at the Spa Little Theater in the Saratoga Spa State Park.
One of the most enduring musicals of all time, JOSEPH is the story of the boy with the coat of many colors who changes the course of history. The show includes a cornucopia of music styles, from country and rock ‘n’ roll to pop and calypso.
The director of JOSEPH is Dawn Oesch whose previous HMT directing credits include Shrek: The Musical, The Addams Family, and The Drowsy Chaperone.
The cast of JOSEPH includes Keenon McCollum as Joseph, and Molly Rose McGrath as the Narrator. Others appearing include Adrian Jacob Appleman as Reuben, Grace Davis as Naphtali, Ethan Jones as Benjamin, Richard Jones as Zebulon, Melissa Mason Lacijan as Leah and Mrs. Potiphar, Heather Ritchie as Judah, Eric Rudy as Jacob, Potiphar and Pharaoh, and Kallie Tarkleson as the Baker. The cast of “JOSEPH” is rounded out by an additional 35 performers, including a Youth Ensemble of 22 children between the ages of 7 and 16.
The artistic team for the production includes Scenic Designers Mary Fran Hughes and Peter Kobor, Lighting Designer Stephanie Van Sandt, Costume Designer Dianne O’Neill Filer, Sound Designers Tom Moeller and Barry Streifert and Properties Designer Steve Moulton.
Performances are Fridays and Saturdays, April 21, 27, 28 and May 4, 5 at 7:30 p.m. Matinees are Sundays, April 22, 29 and May 6 at 2:00 p.m. An optional dinner package is available prior to the evening performances and following Sunday matinees
