The Ghent Playhouse and Director Matthew Teichner are looking to cast the following roles for the upcoming production of CABARET (1998 Version) – Music by John Kander, Lyrics by Fred Ebb.
Clifford Bradshaw: 20-40. Very strong actor, good singer. No dance. Young American, idealistic writer. Pleasant looking, honorable, intelligent, reserved but friendly. Appears to be in control yet is dealing with a considerable amount of internal conflict. Visits Berlin for inspiration and ends up with more than he bargained for. Baritone.
Four Kit Kat Club Boys: (Bobby, Victor, Herman and Hans): 20s-30s. Strong personalities who are good singers and dancers. Sexy, quirky and naughty.
Multiple characters as well, customs official, Max, Rudy and bodyguard. All vocal types.
