On Saturday, February 17th at 8pm, as part of the 10×10 Upstreet Arts Festival in Cultural Pittsfield, the Whitney Center for the Arts presents the return of its popular monthly music series, “Opera Notte” or “Opera Night”, concerts for opera lovers and opera newbies alike. February 17th’s concert is called “The Top Ten Operatic Arias of All Time” featuring 10 opera singers (9 professional opera singers and one local student with promising operative talent) each singing one of the greatest and most well-known arias of all time, accompanied by Carlton Maaia II. There will be a short encore presentation following an intermission. Come get a taste of Opera in the Whit’s atmospheric “Opera Notte Bistro Setting”. Beer, wine and light bites available.
