A chance encounter as guest artists at The Colonial Theatre brought them together in 2013.  A collaboration soon followed and Samantha Talora & Ron Ramsay, inspired by their shared love of decades of Broadway music, the Great American Songbook, classic standards and contemporary & popular music, have been weaving harmonies and going strong ever since.  With such performances as “Our Time”, “Cheek to Chic” and “Heart Song” they have been met with sell-out crowds and rave reviews at Whitney Center for the Arts, Ventfort Hall, Mr. Finn’s Cabaret and countless private and charitable events. Their eclectic music series, spanning a wide array of genres, has delighted audiences with special programs such as “A Sondheim Trilogy, Parts I, II & III” and “The Chairman”- a tribute to Frank Sinatra in 2015 marking his centennial birthday celebration.   The summer seasons of 2016 & 17 found them riding the rails with the Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum for the Cabaret Train series.  These, along with their popular holiday programs for Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Christmas (and more), have quickly become the ideal destination for a romantic date night, or a fun night with family and friends.  Talora’s vocals along with Ramsay’s keen musicianship & depth and experience as a veteran of the New York City night club scene infuse their performances with musical selections that allow us to rise and fall with every emotional turn they take. With passionate performances, and witty storytelling, this pair will make you laugh and cry and always leave you wanting more!

Ron Ramsay attended the High School for the Performing Arts in Dallas Texas and the Manhattan School of Music in NYC, making NYC his home.
