Town Players of Pittsfield present, by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc., Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show Book, Music & Lyrics by Richard O’Brien, sponsored by E. Weider Mechanical, directed by Matthew T. Teichner, with Musical Direction by Jeff Hunt and Choreography by Alexandra Lindsay.
Matthew T. Teichner has worked on well over one hundred productions as director, designer and/or stage manager over his nearly thirty year theatrical career. He has won numerous awards for directing and design, and his production of RENT at the Empire State Performing Arts Center won Best Musical for 2011 in the Times Union Readers Poll. For the second run of his production of RENT in 2011, Matthew had the honor of working with Daniel Weiss, who was the Associate Conductor of the original Broadway production, and David Malachowski (currently touring guitarist for the RENT 20 national tour). Matthew is also a concert lighting designer and has done lighting for over two hundred national and international touring artists.

The cast features Alex Benson as Frank ‘N’ Furter, Brendan Brierley as Brad Majors, Megan Morse as Janet Weiss, Brian McBride Land as Riff Raff, Isabel Costa as Magenta, Isabelle Caffero as Columbia, Tara McCormick Hostash as Trixie, Joey Rainone IV as Eddie, Brian Litscher as Dr. Everett Scott and Jackie DeGiorgis at the Narrator.
The production’s ensemble lead by Dance Captain Meaghan Rogers features; Christopher Dellea, Lindsay DeManbey, Jerry Greene, Rebecca Hughes, Nicole Mecca, Aurora Rines, Kaylee Salatino, Gabrielle Smachetti, Sam Therrien and Devin Trager as the Phantoms.
The All-Star Rocky Horror Live Band led by Jeff Hunt on Piano features Carlton Maaia on Keyboards, Vladimir Zeleny on Guitar, Jeff Link on Bass [who played the 2000 Broadway Revival of The Rocky Horror Show], Frank Algerio on Drums and Erin White on Sax!
Opening on October 20th at Berkshire Community College’s Boland Theater, one of the largest stagehouses in Western Massachusetts, and runs for two weekends as follows: Friday, October 20th at 8PM, Saturday, October 21st at 8PM, Sunday, October 22nd at 6PM, Friday, October 27th at 8PM, Saturday, October 28th at 8PM, closing on Sunday, October 29th at 6PM.
Ticket Prices are $18 General Admission, $15 Seniors, Students, Groups 10+ and $13 Town Players Members.
Audience Props Bags will be for sale for $3 a piece. No outside props will be allowed in the theatre. A limited number of audience props bags will be available for sale at the door.
