Seeking Teen Performers for Saratoga’s 2018 MLK Celebration

Calling Teen Performance Artists interested in lending their talent and activist passion to several upcoming community events, with an initial focus on’s Celebration Weekend (Jan. 12th thru Jan. 15th, 2018).  Past material has included performance art adaptations, original spoken word, contemporary music, and staged readings of the words of civil right leaders.  (Our material and rehearsal schedule will be based on this year’s troupe.)

S**H**Y**F**T (Saratoga’s Humanitarian Youth for Transformation) is a troupe of high school and young adult actors, writers, musicians, and dancers who have been working together since 2010 under Lezlie Dana’s artistic direction and coaching.
