Mill City Productions Brings “Almost, Maine” to North Adams Feb. 8-17, 2013

North Adams, MA– Mill City Productions will present the romantic comedy, “Almost, Maine” by John Cariani. “Almost, Maine” is set on a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, where all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. • Charles – Almost, Maine has several things going for it. First, it is currently the most produced play in American high schools, having recently replaced A Midsummer’s Night Dream in that role. It is also in the regional theatres, like Hartford’s TheaterWorks where it is running right now.

Written by an actor, it is perfect choice for North Adams audiences. A series of cute vignettes on life and love, there’s nothing pretentious about this selection from Mill City and it will give a lot of Berkshire actors a chance to show their stuff. – Larry
